Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Professional 1 Application Designer, or similar position in the Software Programming Applications area. Must have 5 years of experience in financialbankinginsurance or a similar highly regulated industry. Specific experience must also include working with the Surety Bond processing industry processes and standards; assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs; working with multiple phases of software systems programming applications; working with Microsoft technologies and DevSecOps tools and best practices; responding to production support issues; analyzing programs to ensure that they are efficient; conducting preliminary estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to application functionality; working on design and development documentation of proposed procedures and systems; performing preliminary evaluation of packaged software; and experience with supporting implementation activities and troubleshooting system environmental issues. Experience must also include working with Visual Studio, .Net Core, REST JSON APIs, XMLSOAP APIs, and Mulesoft; working with Jira, Kubernetes, Veracode, GITBitbucket, Dynatrace, Postman, SQL Server, and VB6; leading a group of developers in a highly matrixed organization; and working within Agile framework. Option to work remotely.
