Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of product design and development experience.br br Of the required experience, must havebr br 3 years of experience with problem solving with each of the following 8D, Fishbone, cause and effect diagrams;br 3 years of experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly DFM and DFA;br 3 years of experience with GDT, tolerance studies, statistical analysis, and FEA;br 3 years of experience creating 2D3D documentation;br 3 years of experience with new or existing electrical terminals and plastic connector cavities;br 3 years of experience with at least one of the following plastic resin and copper alloy materials, electromechanical engineering, manufacturing processes in terminal stamping, copper alloy plating and injection molding and wire sealing function;br 3 years of experience with wire crimp;br 3 years of predictive engineering experience for both terminal and cavity functions related to mechanical, electrical performance expectations; andbr 2 years of experience in training and mentoring junior engineers.br br Up to 15 domestic and international travel required.br br Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
