Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field, followed by five 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a testresearchoptical engineering or computerrelated occupation.br br Experience must include 24 months of experience in the followingbr br 1. Optical systems development across full product life cycles concept to production;br 2. Optical multicameradisplay systems performance evaluation, test, and characterization;br 3. Optical instrumentation setup cameras, precision stages, controllers, lasers, or optical components;br 4. Design for Six Sigma, inclusive of structure problem solving approach, design experimentation and optimization DOE, root cause and defectfailure analysis, FMEA, FEA, reliability testing, statistical data analysis, or manufacturing process knowledge MSAGRR;br 5. Programming in Python, C, or other equivalent programming languages;br 6. Optical metrology for system test and qualification; andbr 7. Working independently and as part of a team, taking initiative, and managing priorities.
