This position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of work experience with object oriented software engineering or infrastructure engineering. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1. Data structures, ObjectOriented Design OOD, programming patterns and algorithms in a language such as Java; 2. Objectoriented scripting languages such as Python; 3. Supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with enterprise data platforms based on Linux; 4. Performing system administration tasks on UNIX, Linux, and Cloud based systems; 5. Evaluating and scheduling of software patches, upgrades, and hardware changes to data storage systems based on customer requirements; 6. Providing data to evaluate the overall health of data platforms and providing data about data platforms to support audits; and 7. Developing algorithms to make raw data more useful, analyzing trends and reporting of key performance indicators KPIs.
