The position requires a Masters degree in Automation, Process Control, Electrical Engineering, or a foreign equivalent degree, with five 5 years of progressively responsible automation engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment. In the alternative, we accept a Bachelors degree in Automation, Process Control, Electrical Engineering, or a foreign equivalent degree, with seven 7 years of progressively responsible automation engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment. This experience must include at least five 5 years of component serialization systems experience and Optel Vision System experience. We also require at least four 4 years of CAD experience and at least two 2 years of experience with network protocols e.g., Ethernet, vision system integration, and troubleshooting. Experience can be gained concurrently. Travel up to 25 across the U.S. to visit vendor sites for factory acceptance testing. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
