Requires a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering or a related field with coursework in power network applications including in power systems optimization and electricity markets and 1 year of experience in the position offered or 1 year of experience performing power systems network modeling using network topological analysis, power flow, contingency analysis, state estimator, security constrained unit commitment, economic dispatch, linear and nonlinear programming optimization and numerical methods. Also requires 1 year of experience programming using high level language including C or FORTRAN. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
