Requires a Masters Degree in Engineering or a closely related field, 5 years of experience in the position offered or related, including 5 years of experience with Business development, including leading client prospect meetings, RFPs and consulting work proposal development; Project and client management skills for complex multidisciplinary assessments; Insurance broking andor related cat climate risk consulting industry experience; reviewing policy structures and translating these into the catastrophe modelling environment; Third party catastrophe models usage experience including RMS, AIR, RQE, and KatRisk; applying actuarial modelling concepts to deliver integrated manmade natural catastrophe risk optimization studies; Sitebased and desktopbased cat and climate risk engineering assessment experience e.g. PML scenario based assessments; Physical climate risk and climate change impact modelling experience; communicating scientific, statistical, mathematical, and financial concepts to nontechnical audiences and brokers also for insurance placement; databases and programming language including SQL,MS Access, R; QGIS or Arc GIS; and HecRas or other hydraulic models. Up to 10 of domestic and international travel required. Parttime telecommuting permitted.
