H.8A and H.8C In lieu of a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience, employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Education, Linguistics or a related field. Academic program must include student teaching in Mandarin and English as Second Language.br br H.10A and H.10B 2 years of high school level teaching experience in both the Mandarin Language and English as a Second Language ESL. The 2 years of experience are identified as 2 academic school years 20 months.br br Academic background or work experience to include 1. Developing and deploying an English as Second Language curriculum for Graded Examinations in Spoken English GESE. 2. Assessing student progress and maintaining records via online grading program. 3. Conducting parent teacher conferences. 4. Communicating with multicultural audiences. 5. Using electronic communication programs to include Schoology or Blackboard and email to communicate with students, staff and parents. 6. Classroom management, including tracking and assessment of student behavior, development, progress, and attainment.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.br br Position reqs attending Staff InService meetings and school events that occur after normal school hours.br br Position reqs bilingual proficiency in the English Chinese Mandarin languages, both oral written.br br Candidates with a Bachelors degree must have Single Subject California teaching credential Chinese Mandarin language.
