Requires a Bachelors OR Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.br br Requires 2 years of experience with a Bachelors degree OR no experience with a Masters degree.br br Position also requires some experience or education in each of the following skills Traffic forecasting; Intersection and interchange operational analysis; Interchange Modification Reports; Transportation Manuals and Procedures, including AASHTO Green Book, MUTCD, NCDOT Roadway Standard Drawings, NCDOT Policy on Street and Driveway Access, NCDOT TIA Procedures; Traffic analysis tools HCS, Synchro, Sidra, VISSIM, Transmodeler ITE Trip Generation and NCDOT Traffic Engineering Suite; Design software Microstation and Vissio; and Safety analysis tools HSM, TEEAS, and CMFsSPFs.
