Alternatively, a Bachelors degree or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and 5 years of experience in a deeply technical role within a financial services firm, or in a product development or professional services organization within a tech company that serves the financial service market.br br Must havebr Proven handson application design and development experience; Demonstrated solid communication skills, including the ability to communicate at the right level with all parties involved, including management, developers, architects, and end users; Ability to adapt to strategic changes while possessing solid initiative and analytical skills and selfmotivation; Ability to anticipate critical issues and risks and to take responsibility for resolution; Solid knowledge of data modeling, Oracle, PLSQL, UnixLinux, Shell and Python; Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets for large and complex data sources; Handson experience with industry leading big data technologies such as Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka to handle large volume data and secure storage and provide data analytics capability; Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing Stream Sets and highly scalable data stores; Hands on experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Postgres or Graph Databases Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific amount of years of experience required.
