Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design, or a related field and 4 years of experience involving 3DCAD modeling with SolidWorks and Rhino and 3D rendering using Keyshot; visual communication with engineering and crossfunctional teams using hand sketching and 2DCAD visualization tools including Photoshop and Illustrator; rapid prototyping with FDM, SLA, and Polyjet; creating visual presentations using Google DocsSlides with design narrative of new products or product concepts, including 2D3D animations, and present verbally to crossfunctional stakeholders and senior leadership; collaborating with mechanical engineering and manufacturing teams to define materials and manufacturing processes for consumer electronics products; defining Color, Materials and Finishes CMF specification for new products and appearance models, and collaborating with crossfunctional partnersvendors for implementation; collaborating with researchers to define human factors and user testing.br br Travel requiredbr br Position reports to the Google Mountain View, CA office may allow for partial telecommuting.
