Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.br br Position requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus five 5 years in the job offered or five 5 years as a Process Engineer, Project Engineer, or in a manufacturing environment. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus three 3 years of experience in the job offered or three 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer, Project Engineer, or in a manufacturing environment.br br Knowledge of multipoint and singlepoint polyurethane reaction injection molding for the manufacturing of refrigerator cabinet enclosures. Knowledge of openpour and closedpour polyurethane reaction injection molding for the manufacturing of refrigerator door enclosures. Expertise in reaction injection molding tooling design for prototype and mass production of refrigerators. Expertise in qualifying PU RIM tooling for mass production. Knowledge of foaming processes, critical parameters, technologies, and equipment. Thorough knowledge of materials testing procedures including Design of Experiments methodology DOE, specifications and engineering procedures. Handson experience in multiple aspects of the foaming process, mechanical components and operation, tooling design, material handling and quality systems. Lean manufacturing experience i.e., 5S, PokaYoke, DMAIC SMED, etc.. Experience in a diverse and matrixed environment. Experience in manufacturing environment in areas such as industrial and process improvement engineering and related support areas. Significant experience in crossfunctional manufacturing processes and thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Up to 50 international travel.
