Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a civil engineeringrelated occupation. Position requiresbr br 1. Design and management of tunnel structures and technology for bored, NATM, and cut and cover tunnels;br 2. Design of geotechnical works such as retaining walls, slopes, or foundations;br 3. TBM techniques, equipment, and standard procedures;br 4. 2D and 3D Finite Element Structural Analysis such as SAP2000 or Straus;br 5. 2D and 3D soilstructure interaction software such as FLAC2D, Plaxis2D, FLAC3D, or PLAXIS 3D;br 6. Settlement analysis, building and utilities precondition assessment, risk assessment of structures and Implementation of mitigation measures;br 7. Seismic design and analysis of underground structures;br 8. Design of reinforce concrete and fiber reinforce concrete structures; andbr 9. Design of watersealing plugs and blocks for shafts and stations.br br Travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. required.
