The RD Test Engineers Engineer position requires a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering field and one 1 year of experience in RD for robotic surgeries. The position requires a minimum of one 1 year of experience with each of the following Medical Devices Robotic Assisted Surgical RAS Devices; creating 2D 3D CAD models in CREOPROE of Test Fixtures to support Verification testing of Robotic Assisted Surgical RAS Device; developing and executing test methods including testing optimization, Root Cause Analysis RCA, troubleshooting and determining failure modes FMEA; creating engineering change notices ECN and perform required documentation per defined quality standards for medical devices; editing test methods and reports in JAMA product development collaboration tool and issue tracking in JIRA; authoring engineering and Product level Design Verification reports, perform statistical analysis to include Gage Repeatability Reproducibility Gage RR; and statistical analysis using MINITAB.
