Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field and five years of experience as an Operations Director or Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager or closely related occupation. Also requires five years of experience with construction management; managing the flow of information throughout the project teams; promoting Lean Manufacturing practices; managing the production of tender documentation and enhancing buildability by determining construction methods to overcome problems in documentation; analysis of design and value engineering to produce cost effective design solutions; scheduling of construction activities and construction projects; negotiation and liaison with industrial relations entities to establish union agreements; reading complex financial reports and using risk position mitigation practices; assisting with strategic positioning of the company; and analysis of live project extensions and renovations within highly sensitive environments. Approximately 1020 travel required to various unanticipated locations. Preemployment processing requires drug testing and background checks.
