This position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, SystemsControl Engineering, or related field and 5 years of work experience in the refining industry or with an automation or engineering company serving the refining industry. Also must have work experience with 1. Development, implementation, or operation of refinery inventory and movement management and blend optimization systems; 2. Instrument, automation, control, or information systems such as tank gauging systems; online process analyzers; Honeywell TDCExperion, Emerson DeltaV DCS; Wonderware; plant information systems; or planning and scheduling systems; 3. Relational database Oracle or SQL Server applications or system integration; 4. Control systembusiness network integration of application serverdisplay client system architectures; and 5. Understanding of refinery and offsites operations, regulatory and advanced process control, modelpredictive control and multiperiod optimization techniques.br br In the alternative, the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, SystemsControl Engineering, or related field and 3 years of work experience in the refining industry or with an automation or engineering company serving the refining industry. Also must have work experience with 1. Development, implementation, or operation of refinery inventory and movement management and blend optimization systems; 2.
