Bachelors degree U.S. or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and five 5 years IT experience. Alternatively, will accept Masters degree U.S. or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and three 3 years IT experience. Position also requires indepth understanding of OSI model; experience with fiber optic cabling, copper cabling, patch panels, and connector types; experience with VTP, ISL, 802.1Q trunking, spanningtree, and VLANs; experience with OSPFBGPbr routing protocols, IP advertisingfilteringredistribution, Quality of Service, IP multicast Engineering consultations for Level III network troubleshootingproblem resolution, protocol analysis, network troubleshootingproblem determination skills with network tracecaptureanalysis software; understanding of endtoend data flowsbr and traffic patterns.br br Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable.
