Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in food science, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related and 1 year of experience as Production SupervisorEngineer, Trainee, or related. Experience must include Analyze and create strategies to reduce shrink in animal protein products by using continuous improvement tools like PDCA and DWR. Use KPIs as primary indicators to guide a team towards a common goal. Monitoring of CCPs implemented in slaughter and fabrication environments. Keep and monitor production and quality control records required by BRC and USDA or equivalent government institution standards as well as take part in yearly BRC audits. Perform claims investigations with production, shipping, and maintenance departments. Organize a team of employees and prioritize production schedules.
