Project Overview:
I am looking for an experienced nurse to join our caregiving team on a contractual basis, focusing on providing comprehensive support tailored to the unique needs of my loved one. This role offers the opportunity for extension based on their progress and ongoing requirements.

Responsibilities:

Symptom Management: Assist in managing symptoms associated with chronic fatigue syndrome, orthostatic intolerance, and anxiety, including fatigue, dizziness, cognitive difficulties, pain, and emotional distress.
Orthostatic Intolerance Management: Implement strategies to manage orthostatic intolerance, such as careful positioning, hydration, compression garments, and gradual increases in activity levels, under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
Anxiety Support: Provide emotional support and coping strategies to help my loved one manage anxiety symptoms, including relaxation techniques, mindfulness exercises, and therapeutic communication.
Activities of Daily Living: Support my loved one with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks, to promote their independence and comfort.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, therapists, and other members of the caregiving team to ensure coordinated care and optimize my loved one’s treatment plan.
Emotional Support: Offer compassionate and empathetic support to my loved one and our family, creating a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to their healing and well-being.

Requirements:

Certification as a registered nurse with a compassionate and person-centered approach to care.
Experience or familiarity with chronic fatigue syndrome, orthostatic intolerance, and anxiety management.
Proficiency in providing nursing care, including symptom management, assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and emotional support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and provide empathetic support to patients and their families.
