Job Duties:Shuttle Driver: Operate passenger vans to transport up to 10 workers to/from housing to/from worksite and weekly grocery, laundry and banking needs. Inspect vehicle and safety equipment on bus before driving. Pick up workers at living quarters and transport workers to work site. Assistant supervise workers, report any accidents/injuries. Keep vehicles clean, transfer workers from one worksite to another when necessary. Provide documents/licenses to federal agencies when requested. Transport workers back to housing at the end of the workday. Additional hours may comprise an additional 30% of the workers time.

Five percent of each workers responsibilities may be comprised of inspecting a vehicle, checking gas, oil, and water levels. Reporting and coordinating minor repairs to vehicles such as changing tires and following all maintenance-scheduled requirements. as well as reporting all safety incidents.

Drivers must follow specific routes according to times and schedules indicated by field supervisors/managers. Each worker must comply with DOT safety guidelines and traffic regulation for vehicle operation to ensure passenger and vehicle safety. Its essential that drivers safeguard passengers confirming each are seated while following safety practices during vehicle operation, regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Drivers are required to report delays and accidents immediately. DOT required medical exam.

Vegetable transportation: The employee will transport the product to the packing house. Workers will assist in staking boxes, safely loading, unloading, and securing product on/off on the truck. In addition to ensuring, the vehicles are regularly serviced.

Field Leader – The Field Leader is responsible for assisting the Farm Manager and supporting other fieldworkers by helping communicate daily work plans, such as cultivation, irrigation, or harvesting. The Field Leader will operate farm machinery for cultivation, harvesting, or storing crops, and will communicate with the Farm Manager regarding daily harvesting. Other tasks include transporting workers from field to field, using Probe time-keeping system to ensure employees punch in and out and documenting crop data on iFoods software using iPad.
Workers are responsible for following the recommendations of supervisors in performing these tasks.

Packinghouse Leader – Worker is responsible for assisting the Farm Manager and supporting the packinghouse workers by helping communicate daily work plans. Workers will be assigned to packinghouse during harvest season. Worker must be familiar with Employer food safety policies, and work rules for laborers position. Worker will assist in identifying and addressing violations of employment policies. Worker will help ensure that packinghouse workers clock in and out and track daily hours using HRIS. Worker will be required to report any packinghouse worker absences or separations from employment to Employer immediately. Worker will be required to communicate with the supervisors in packinghouse, quality control department and farm management. During the harvest season team members will vary from day to day and can change throughout day depending on Employer needs and crop conditions.

Assisting Supervisor: Fifty percent of each workers job duties will be occupied with assisting in inspecting the quality of product. Verifying that the harvested product complies with the employers quality standards. While supporting the farm supervisor with the supervision of the crew, as well as assisting in farm labor activities.Job Classification:53-3053.00 – Shuttle Drivers and Chauffeurs
