Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hematology/Oncology professional to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in treating patients with various blood disorders and cancers, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to deliver comprehensive care. Duties
The Hematology/Oncology specialist will be responsible for:

Conducting thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical exams, to diagnose and treat blood disorders and cancers
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, imaging studies, and biopsies
Developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers
Providing patient education and counseling on treatment options, medications, and potential side effects
Prescribing medications and ordering medical treatments as necessary
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in eClinicalWorks
Adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, surgeons, and radiologists
Participating in clinical research studies and staying current with the latest developments in the field
Demonstrating expertise in acute pain management and botulinum toxin treatment
Operating in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care and safety

Requirements

Board certification in Hematology and Oncology
Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of [State]
Experience with nuclear medicine and neonatology
Familiarity with neurology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in eClinicalWorks and other electronic medical records systems
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and maintain effective communication with colleagues
Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of Hematology/Oncology

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $275,000.00 – $375,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
