Job Duties: Operate semi truck with chain floor trailer in the process of harvesting silage crops; Load crops into trailers by driving alongside harvesting machine in the field while driving over crop residue and through field conditions without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments to trucks and trailers; Perform safety checks; Drive truck with trailer through fields and onto rural roads to transport crops from farmer’s fields to on farm storage areas, dump, return to the field; Workers will not assist in duties like planting, cultivating, or grain cleaning; All duties to be performed are those involved in harvesting crops.
